British Overseas (Themed Community Service)
Spanning from September to May, UJALA Centre conducted theme-based community service at British Overseas. The program encompassed themes like identity, locality, expression, and environmental responsibility, incorporating academic fun and culinary experiences like baking and cooking. It enriched academic experiences and community engagement throughout the academic year.
Haque Academy (Buddy Program)
UJALA Centre continued its successful buddy program at Haque Academy, promoting stronger bonds among students. Daily engagements included science experiments, creative breakfast mornings, and other activities aimed at better understanding and knowing one another, enhancing the UJALA-Haque Academy partnership.
Indus Academy (Buddy Program)
UJALA Centre collaborated with Indus Academy for a buddy program involving Grade 11 students. This initiative culminated in a spirited final sports day, showcasing teamwork and bonding through activities like treasure hunts and sensory galas. The event was a collective effort, strengthening the UJALA-Indus partnership.
The Learning Tree (Skill Exchange Program)
In conjunction with The Learning Tree (TLT), UJALA organized a skill exchange program involving Grade 9 students. TLT taught football to UJALA students, while UJALA imparted throwball skills to TLT. The collaboration included friendly matches and hands-on engagement in various school activities, fostering camaraderie and skill development.
